Ithongo Adam is a fusion massage and beauty studio located at Imhoff Farm, Kommetjie Rd, Kommetjie, Cape Town. We operate the website ithongoadam.co.za and the booking system associated with it. You can contact us at hello@ithongoadam.co.za or via WhatsApp on 079 076 9725.
2. Information we collect
When you create an account or make a booking we collect your name, email address, phone number and any health information you choose to share with your therapist. We also collect information about your appointments and payments made in person.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to manage your bookings, send appointment confirmations and reminders, operate our Ithongo Rands loyalty programme, and send promotional emails where you have opted in. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Health information
Any health information you share is used solely to ensure your therapist can provide safe and appropriate treatment. This information is stored securely and is only accessible to your therapist and our administrative staff.
5. Communications
We send booking confirmations and appointment reminders via email and SMS. You can manage your notification preferences at any time from your account page. You may also receive occasional promotional emails which you can unsubscribe from via your account settings.
6. Data storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a GDPR-compliant database provider with servers in Europe. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information.
7. AI booking assistants
Our booking API may be used by AI assistants to help clients book treatments. When a booking is made via an AI assistant we collect the same information as a standard booking — name, phone and optionally email. No additional data is collected or shared with AI providers.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information at any time. You can update your details from your account page or contact us at hello@ithongoadam.co.za to request deletion of your data.
9. Cookies
Our website uses essential cookies only to manage your login session. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
